Overview

Nestled in the heart of Philadelphia’s vibrant Adams Avenue corridor, Pupuseria Sabor Latino Brunch offers an authentic taste of Salvadoran cuisine that beckons both locals and visitors alike. This cozy yet lively spot specializes in pupusas, the beloved stuffed corn tortillas that form the backbone of Salvadoran culinary tradition. Each pupusa is crafted with melted cheese and filled with classic options such as refried beans or fresh zucchini, delivering a warm and comforting flavor that feels like a genuine home-cooked meal.

Beyond pupusas, the menu broadens to include enticing main dishes that showcase the rich, bold flavors of Salvadoran and Latin American cooking. The camarones en salsa, shrimp served in a savory sauce accompanied by rice, beans, fresh salad, and tangy pico de gallo, stands out as a highlight. Similarly, the fajita mix provides a heartier option, combining tender grilled meats with traditional sides that balance texture and taste perfectly.

For a lighter start or shared bites, the appetizers such as chicken wings with barbecue or spicy seasoning, and the crispy fried plantain dishes served with creamy guacamole, bring a pleasant variety that complements the main courses beautifully. The dining space itself is casual and approachable, making it an ideal choice for families, friends, and food enthusiasts eager to explore Salvadoran flavors in a welcoming environment.

Located conveniently at 513 Adams Avenue, the restaurant blends a straightforward yet vibrant setting with attentive service, making each visit a memorable one. Whether you are seeking a casual lunch, a flavorful dinner, or a weekend brunch with a Latin twist, Pupuseria Sabor Latino Brunch offers a genuine and satisfying experience that celebrates the rich culinary heritage of El Salvador in Philadelphia.

Had lunch here and it was good! Chicken was done to perfection, salad was crisp, beans were seasoned just right. I didn't realize the platter also included nachos and tortas so I was stuffed! The host and wait staff we're super friendly. Highly recommended.

Congrats to Pupusería El Sabor Latino for opening another great location! Comfortable & clean dining room with excellent service and decent prices ($3/pupusa). We spent $45 between the two of us, not including gratuity. Nice selection of dinner platters. Can't wait to return to try the buffet brunch!

Best black beans I've had in years. Loved their beans, pasta salad, chicken wings, and yucca fries. Pork chops were a little over cooked &or dry but they were seasoned well and taste good. I'm coming back

Best of all time Latino food. I've had good El Salvador style food before, but this is on a whole other level. The guacamole is flavorful and fresh, the food textures are good, portion sizes are great, prices are excellent. The food is hot and fresh without being greasy, and the salsas and pico de gallo and other veg that comes with the dishes are an awesome addition to really balance our the meal. You've gotta try the Pupusas, Chicken Pastellios, Tostones with Guacamole, and find a platter - whether you're into beef, pork, chicken, fish, or shrimp, there's a lot of flavor here waiting for you.
